I remember Dad to be always young-at-heart. He loved to play with kids and loved to buy toys for them. In recent years, I remember Dad had bought expensive joystick-controlled animated Tyrannosaurus for Ethan, remote control helicopters and cars for Ethan and Justin, and animated toys for Steven and Alex. I found this home video that I took back in summer (July) 2004 when Mary drove Dad and Mom up to visit us. So this was the July 4th weekend and really hot, and Dad was unfazed by the heat. He suggested we spend the day outside and turning on the sprinkler system for the kids to play. Watch how little Ethan (6 yrs) and Amelia (11?) were then. Dad started playing with the rocket balloons - he pumps up the balloon and just when he's ready to release, it 'pops', startling him up tremendously. I just love that expression on his face when it happened! Daddy - hope you are popping balloons and playing with the angels in heaven. And do find Ying's Dad to play too.
