Ahkong taught me how to get crafty

Contributed by Stephanie Lowe (Granddaughter): 5/11/2014 I remember hanging out behind the cash register with my mom and Ahkong at Hong Kong Lobsteer Inn. It was there that I learned how to make change at a young age from my mom and how to get crafty with easy to find objects like recycled paper, paper clips, toothpicks, rubber bands, and masking tape. Ahkong and I would have fun for hours making homemade toys out of these items. I'm pretty sure I learned my ingenuity and scrappiness from him! Last year Greg and I tried to put a mobile up in Amina's room and I fashioned something out of a dowel rod that I cut just long enough to get intentionally caught in her track lighting to hang it from.
