One of his favorite pastimes in the recent years was to play the CD music of Teresa Teng, or recorded from Chinese TV videos, and he sang along with the tunes. For as long as I have known Dad, he just loved to sing songs or hum to Chinese folk tunes. I wish we bought him a harmonica in the past few years, as I remember he was so skilled with it, despite the fact that he never had any lessons in music. Here is a moment that made me cry -- I remember we visited Mary during the Christmas holidays, so Dec 2010. Dad was in Mary's kitchen and feeling very good about singing. We asked him to sing one of the old tunes that he taught us when we were little, "Yum Yum Chak", which is "Playing Seesaw" in Hakka. This brings back so much memories......
